SIMON CHAINSAW

Australian by birth and firmly rooted in the Aussie "Punk meets Rock" tradition of Saints, Radio Birdman, Rose Tattoo and early AC/DC. But it doesn't stop there, Simon draws on brash influences like Social Distortion, Stooges, Pistols, Motorhead & CBGBs style punk mixed with the dirty melody of Husker Du, Replacements, & Foo Fighers. SIMON has spent the last 10 years serving up his unique brand of rock'n'roll, playing and recording all over the world. He has released 4 solo CDs and a 4 CD box set (of different material). All culminating in last years best of/retrospective release EIGHT TIMES LUCKY and the tours all that supported the release. 2010 was a great year for SIMON CHAINSAW. He toured in Brazil, Europe, Argentina and Australia!

The band for the European Tour 2011 is hot!... Joining Simon is CHRIS MASUAK (Radio Birdman / Screaming Tribesmen / New Christs / Hitmen), NASTY SAMY (Second Rate / Black Zombie Procession / Hawaii Samurai) and TURBOGODE (Nedgeva / Teenage Renegade). With guys like that the shows are gonna be 100% rock'n'roll action! To coincide with the tour SIMON has one new release!!

His first solo 7" vinyl EP "FOUR ON THE FLOOR" (recorded last year in Spain during his European tour) featuring Samy, Turbogode and Vinz (Holy Curse / 3 Headed Dog / Dimi Dero Inc.) STRICTLY LIMITED EDITION of 300 HAND NUMBERED COPIES on coloured vinyl!!!
If 2010 wasn't big enough, 2011 is shaping up to be even bigger. Aside from the new release, 2 trips to Europe are already booked!! (April for the tour and July for festivals and other shows), Simon will also take in Brazil & Argentina. Plus Australia & West Coast USA are on the cards for late 2011 or early 2012.
